This song is about everything!
That means it is about friendship, love and enmity;
about society and global problems of mankind, about the sympathy and magic of the moment.
To unite this universality in a single song is the special feature of "While I watch your
Smile". Myriads of possibilities and highest abstraction go hand in hand with the mystery
of the here and now, of being in the present.

We developed the dynamics of this song from guitar sessions in which the groove was both,
the top priority and a beguiling driving force.
All instruments except the Hammond B3 organ and drums are guitars. However, the different
guitars have made mixing quite difficult. But we think we mastered it brilliantly. Note:
It's worth turning up the volume a little.
What is "everything"?
Well, just everything! This means that this song simply encompasses and contains everything that exists and happens in the tiny little biosphere of our planet.
Think of all the emotion and enthusiasm, the joy and suffering, all the love and friendship, the struggles and conflicts, the centuries of bloody history, the phases of cultural evolution, the appearance of art and science.
Also imagine simple things like cups or matchboxes, scarves, shoelaces and fighter planes. And also think of abstract things like social justice, quantum mechanics or psychoanalysis.
This song is just about everything! And so it is also about those magical moments of the beginning of a love.
A love that on the one hand is supernatural and undecipherable, but on the other hand is also simply the
oldest game of evolution.
Furthermore of course, this song also contains: testimony, attraction of the hearth, chocolate finger,
tetanus syringe, panties, grim look, fire department, body height, medical student, corpse washer,
football fan, bio-break, maternity ward, ...
... order stand, distribution department, hairdresser, hell screaming, trashy literature, stacker crane, menstruation, obedience hierarchy, ringing in the ears, authority chaos, congruence rates, comfort station, garden trip, desire, loneliness and the Theorem of Fermat.
Yeah, but when talking about "everything" some people say that this is like talking about "nothing".
But that is not what is meant here.
The intention of "while I see your smile" being about everything is seeing and recognizing everything. Instead of melting in the oddness and the daily monotony the song is encouraging to dive into the manifold of impressions, associations and topics of this world. It is about seeing the myriads of beings, colours and dependencies. It is about perceiving our world! It is about "everything"!
