You breathe the air, smell the winds, feel the warmth of the sunbeams and watch the waves
crashing on the beach. Maybe you receive a myriad of impressions, maybe you have a multitude
of thoughts and a wide diversity of images?
That is the moment when you see "The Colours of this Day".
That is what happens every day - to me - to us - and hopefully to everybody. On the one hand
the word "colours" stands for the multifaceted experience of a day. On the other hand it stands
for the awareness of the singularity of just this currently experienced day, because this
specific day will not come again. The current date does only exist today - and it will be
over at midnight.
Mix & master: Gerald Arend of Ohrwerk Audio.
The audio expert Gerald Arend created a second version which puts the whole scenery into a wider space being more appropriate and more imaginary for the flow of the song. This version literally opens a door to a fantastic and even more colourful day. Here Gerald achieves his imagination of how this song must sound.
There are some more thoughts associated to this song, and therefore you may have a look at the lyrics here (pdf).
