Some poeple are forced to leave their native country. And so they have to find a new home and a new life. "Afghanistan" is about an afghanish girl who left her former native land and settled in a western country. She still remembers some fragments of the ancient time when she grew up in Afghanistan.

Everybody of this time – she’s forgotten nearly all of them. And she still sees her sister’s eyes – talking all night through. That is the time when she creeps back ...

Afghanistan is a worn out country since it was permanent in war since 1979.

After the Soviets withdraw in 1989 the country did not achieve peace. Tribal rivalties and fights never ended. Rare ceasefires, usually negotiated by representatives of different groups commonly collapsed within days. The time of warfare and repression did not end until now.
